Hi,
I have been trying to delete from the scroll down on the address bar certain addresses. I have reset safari, cleared cache, cleared history, fixed permissions, and nothing I do will get rid of www.macworld.com/forums/...blahblahblah types of addresses from the bar. Why? It is annoying because when I type in www.macworld I have the super long address come up in anticipation of sending me to some link I read months ago. How do I get rid of these?

PS. I didn't really fix permissions. I just thought that it would annoy d00d to say that I did. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Does this help?
I've read that autocomplete will fill in URLs in your bookmarks as well, so if you've bookmarked any threads, those are likely going to show.

Hi,
That is exactly what it was. I bookmarked a forum from months ago regarding fsck -y -f and that is what continues to come up. Thanks.
