Shift / Control Key no longer working.

Hi to all on the forum
A very bizarre situation has arisen in that the shift/control keys on my keyboard no longer respond. Nothing physical has been near the keyboard to have caused this problem so completely confused.
I am going to plug it into my friends mac later to check but has anyone experienced this problem before.
The keyboards the mac one I got with the G4 dual 1.25ghz mac and it's connected via usb extension from usb port on my computer.
Any thoughts or solutions...thanks in advance. Regards

Hi -Rich,
The closest thing I've read is the Power Key going bonkers. Might try pluggin the USB cable into the other side of the keyboard, and also try a different USB port on your tower. When I first read your post I thought you had the keyboard plugged into a USB hub...MY mistake, and that would be a NO-NO /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif After test driving it on another Mac should give you the true results. Let us know...
