Apple posts Security Update 2005-002

Apple on Tuesday released Security Update 2005-002. This update covers installations of Mac OS X that use Java 1.4.2. The update is available for download through the Software Update system preference pane, and is also available for download from Apple's Web site. more

Hi,
I have no idea what this means. Does this mean it is supposed to deal with the pop ups I keep seeing when I surf with safari?

No. It's a security fix for a Java vulnerability.

nope
but your constant pop ups mean you haven't hit <command>K to popup block

Hi,
My pop up blocker is activated, yet pop ups, or rather pop unders, still occur. I am not the only one.
