I'm running Jaguar and I've been having a wierd problem with my trash folder under mail. I think it has something to do with my junk mail filter settings, but here's the problem. Over the past day a couple of messages went directly into my trash folder and I get the bold message saying there is unread mail in the trash folder. But when I click on the trash folder I don't see anything. The same thing happens if I delete any e-mail. Nothing shows up in the trash folder. I tried clicking show deleted messages, but nothing happened. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Also, I can't drag anything to the trash folder, just click the delete button, but when I do that, nothing shows up.

Is there any way to just reinstall the mail program from my OS X cd? And if so, how? Thanks in advance.
