When trying to access a PDF file (with Adobe Acrobat closed), I receive the alert:
"The currently selected language resources are not supported by the current version of Adobe Acrobat. Please reselect the language in the International System Preferences panel."
In that panel I have "US" selected, however, the checkmark is grayed out.
If I have either of my two Adobe Acrobat (6 & 7) selected and hidden, the PDF file is presented by that Adobe Acrobat. An Apple representative of Applecare Service and Support Guide claims that Adobe Acrobat should be prechosen. Is that true? If so, why the alert? /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

The International system preferences panel has three tabs. It usually comes up in the "Input Menu" tab. It doesn't much matter what you have selected there. Be sure that "United States" is selected in the "Formats" tab, and be sure that "English" is at the top of the list in the "Language" tab.
