I like the direction Casio has taken in the consumer digital camera market. They have been innovative with their ultra-compact cameras for a number of years now. I have the EX-Z55, it's a great 5MP that has a 2.5 inch screen and fits in your pocket. I take it everywhere, and the picture quality is very good also.
And yes, I find their line innovative, high-quality and affordable, but that's just me.

They aren't bad for sure, but the fact that they still have soldered in memory is a problem... I know that they also have a slot, but the fact that some piddly 8MB or 16MB is soldered in means that you can't just pop the memory card out and dump photos into something like the new iPod camera interface (or the many variants of this that have existed before it)
Also, I had a friend with an EX-Z40 visit from Japan... I thought for sure that she could just plug the camera in and dump pics to my computer for e-mailing or whatever. But Casio requires it's own software to be installed to handle the transfer. This is insane... I have never had a problem just plugging in a camera in to dump pics off of it.
Anyhoo, they have a lot of sweet features and fair to good quality for their price point... I hope they get rid of the soldered memory and make their cameras function like a USB memory card reader (which is how allmost all other digital cams behave) Then they would rock.
