usb switch to share Cube and mini

i am thinking about getting one of these:

to share my Apple Pro keyboard with my Cube and my mini when i get it...
does anyone use one of these and will i be able to use the USB ports on the keyboard...
i spoke with a rep at usbgear and the keyboard will work but i am not sure about the usb ports that are on the keyboard...

I do not have the product in question but I do believe that it would work with the keyboard's usb ports.
