When ctrl clicking a downloadable file on a website, Safari no longer shows the dialogue box where I can "rename" the file before downloading. What's up? Any clues? This seems to have coincided with the recent OS X upgrade.

Try adding the Option key to the mix; they switched the behavior. Control-click, press Option, and you'll see Save As.

Thank you griffman, this had become very irritating during the past 24 hours following my OS X.3.9 update. I'm feeling much better now, lol. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
