SMS was created for phone to phone messaging, but it can be used from computer to phone. I assume it can also be used computer to computer. This latter case is the only purpose I can imagine using this service for. I use SMS a lot. When I am at my computer I simply use Mail to send and receive SMS, and only use it to message someone on their phone.

Yup; that's essentially the same thing, alright. While it seems to boggle the mind that some people are willing to spend ten cents a message and ten dollars a year to do the very same thing that you can do for free from iChat, (or AOL-IM) I have to assume that the developers of this software perceive a market for it. Based upon all of the localization options noted on their website, is it at all possible that the AOL-IM service isn't available in Europe? /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
