I have never see much use in automatically placing incoming mail into special folders, except for "Junk". I am sure this is useful for some, but for me it would mean that I would have to examine multiple folders each time I checked mail to see if new mail had come in.
What I would like would be an auto-file featurea "File" button, which when pressed, would file the message I am reading into a mailbox based on my preset specifications.
In other words, after I had read a message in the Inbox, I would press the File button and the message would be filed into the correct mailbox.

A question for the 'in the knows' out there: Will it be possible to search for attachment names in Tiger? Unless I'm missing something, I can't do that now in Mail 1.3.11, and it's a feature that I'm craving.
It seems to me that if someone tells me the name of a file that was sent to me (say 2 months ago), I should be able to search for that name and get a result. Again, unless I'm missing something, I can't do that now.
Thanks for any input!

My biggest gripe with Mail is the inability to Forward, Reply, or Redirect a message that was in HTML format and retain the HTML formatting. Entourage has done this properly for years, and Thunderbird can do it (as I'm sure other email clients can).
Has this been fixed in Mail 2.0? I hope!
Thanks!

Same problem. I have deleted all, re-installed - still hangs up. Will not close gracefully. After rebooting, I thought that the problem was fixed, but it returned. http://www.macworld....ns/confused.gif
