MacOSX Hints Latest Java Support June 2005

I followed the article to the letter on my G4-500 using OSX.3.9 Worked like a Champ.
On the other hand, on my Laptop Using Tiger, it crashed FireFox and unlike on Panther Firefox locked up intstead of quiting,when it would crash. I had to do a force quit.
I had to do the touch Terminal technique as described in the article.
Would suggest, that someone to inform Source Forge about this.

Well, you could inform Source Forge, but I think they'd respond with "We host software development efforts; we don't write or support them."
That said, you could surf on into their project page and post a support request in their support forums or report a bug (as someone has already done) to notify the group that is developing the software.
You don't need to at this point as they are aware of the problem. From the horse's (developer's) mouth:
