i just want to ask what is the latest OS available?? i want to upgrade my machine... please help me.. thanks!!! leine_chris

The latest version of Mac OS X available (for the Macintosh platform) is 10.4 (also called "Tiger"). Reports are that an upgrade to this -- at version number 10.4.1 -- will be released in mid to late May, but for now the latest is 10.4.
This version of the OS does not run on ALL Macs however. In order to see which Macs are supported by this OS, consult Apple's web site.
