Airliners are slowly coming closer to being just another place to tune in to a Wi-Fi signal. Boingo Wireless Inc. announced a deal on Wednesday that will give its hotspot customers Internet access on flights that offer the Connexion by Boeing inflight Wi-Fi service. The partnership will remove the need for airline passengers to sign up for a separate Wi-Fi service and get a bill from Connexion by Boeing. more

I have to put up with people talking on the telephone while driving, waiting in line at McDonald's and while placing their orders at Starbucks. The last conversation I want to hear is from the guy sitting in the aisle, who is taking up both armrests.

For what it's worth, I've also noticed that Boingo is partnering with more and more airport Wi-Fi service providers to offer carryover service from their subscribers. Interesting trend.
