I just purchased my first mac, imac g5, i converted my data from my pc, excited to get started on this great machine. The conversion went fine. All data was there, still had to make some fine tuning changes, inactive accounts, etc., but all was looking good. Then I went to pay some bills, and that is when the nightmare started. QB claims that they are committed to Mac, BS, there is no automated online bill pay feature as there is with their PC version. I checked before going from PC to Mac, and all the ads claim that my financial institution is compatible with QB Mac, BIG DEAL. How can you have business software and not have a online bill pay feature. Why does Intuit treat Mac useres like step children? Now I have to decide whether to give back the Mac and stay with the crappy PC.
Does anyone have any suggestions or workarounds, PLEASE.http://www.macworld.com/forums/ubbthreads/images/icons/confused.gif

It's unfortunate that the capabilities of QuickBooks for Mac weren't clear when you purchased the product [the Mac-specific pages on quickbooks.com seemed to do a pretty good job of explaining what features are included]. Intuit does offer a money-back guarantee on the software if you do decide it won't work for you. If you require features like online banking, you might consider using a program like VirtualPC, which would allow you to run the Windows version on your Mac - not an ideal solution, but a usable workaround.
