Hello,
I purchased a PB and my wife uses an iBook, both have wireless cards. I also have an Asante 4 port wireless router that works fine connected to Direcway. What type of printer do I need? Should I buy it with wireless networking or must it be via ethernet cable? If both will work, which is best? I have not been shopping for a printer yet. I am migrating from Linux desktop and use an HP connected via parallel cable, my wife uses a unreliable Lexmark! We want to buy a good quality HP copy/scan/printer that we both can use wireless.
Thanks

Sounds like you know what type of printer you need. Look and see what options HP has that you like in terms of wireless or networked printing. You'll be paying a pretty penny for networked or wireless printing, but then again a good HP all-in-one is gonna cost a lot, so you might want to save as much as you can and go with whichever option is cheaper. Also, most wireless printing is Bluetooth, so you'd have to make sure your laptops have Bluetooth capabilities.

In case someone else is looking for the same type of printer. This came from HP's site. It's an HP 7210 P/C/S/F. Here is some info I cut & paste:
"Need to make printing, faxing, scanning, and copying available to several family members? The Officejet 7210's built-in Ethernet networking lets you connect up to five PCs. Plus, you can even make it wireless by plugging in to the Ethernet port of a wireless router."
Sounds like just what I need, all for $299.99. If I shop around I should find a better deal.............
