where on the web would you find out if the new mini mac (out since when? 1 Jan) is reliable,
or if there are any hardware bugs or problems with it?

I read many many articles on the mini mac before I decided to buy one. (Mine came in a week ago, but I've been out of town and haven't been able to play with it yet.) The vast majority of them were favorable and many of them were extremely pleased with the mini. The main complaint was the RAM though. Most of the articles said the mini only became fun when upgraded in RAM to 512 mb. But thats only $50. If you want to find review for yourself you can just type "Mini Mac Review" into google.com and you should get plent of articles.

Friend of mine got one right after they came out and leaves it running 24/7 and has it set to never sleep, only to put the monitor to sleep after a set amount of time. Been running that way since the day she got it and has not so much blinked since. It seems to be as rock solid as other Mac's. And she did get the RAM upgrade for 512 from Apple when she ordered it.
