iPod formatting

I'm currently using my iPod with a Windows XP-operated PC. Thing is, I'll be switching to a Mac in a month or so. So, will I have to reformat my iPod for the new computer, and if so will I lose all the music I have on it?

No you won't have to reformat. Your PC formatted iPod with work with either PCs or Macs. So don't worry about that.
