I know there is a lot of debate on which FM transmitor is better. But which one do you prefer or would purchase today?
Thanks.

We've reviewed a lot of these things at Playlist. You might want to check out the AirPlay and PodFreq.

Some interesting things to note just from my experience with the Griffin FM Transmitter.
I like being able to access any FM station.
I don't like the fact that if I have to change stations I must go through a playlist, b/c then I lose the shuffle on my current playlist and must restart. Other options include a swith on the transmitter itself, but many of these are limited to only a few stations.
At this point I can't remember the name of it, but one company makes a FM transmitter that has buttons on it for cycling through stations. This, to me, would be the best option. That way you don't have to mess with switching through stations via a playlist--something that is extremely hard and dangerous to do while driving.

I have the AirPlay. It works pretty well, though I do find that I have to boost the iPod volume nearly to the max to get good transmission. It's really tiny and allows you to easily switch frequencies.

You may be thinking of the AirPlay. Also, Griffin has an FM transmitter in the works that dispenses with the "choose channel through playlist" process that's required by the iTrip.

Wouldn't require anything if vehicles and such included an audio-in jack. How hard can that be?
