iPod Podcast menu?

So I have Mac OS 10.4.2, a 20 gig 4th gen iPod, and iTunes 4.9. But when I try to update my iPod, I'm not getting the new shiny "Podcast" menu. Any ideas? My podcasts show up in my iTunes "Podcast" menu; I'm just not getting a podcast menu on the iPod itself. Anyone else have this problem? Is there a way to fix it? Thanks.

Have you installed the latest iPod updater?

Yep, 3.1 I think it is. Everything is up to date.

Navigate to "Setting" > "Main Menu" and see if "Podcasts" menu is "On"
