iSight Questions... Software?

I just bought an iSight. It has great quality for a webcam but I am a lil disapointed it doesn't have some sort of manual control panel or software. it seems as though its a lil dark, i would like to bump up the brightness.... (yes yes, i turned on my lights and even brought in a desk lamp... its cluttering my desktop now.)
Does anyone know of some sort of manual override software for this lil guy?
Maybe i shoulda bought that logitech ball-on-a-stick camera....bleh!
