Since I upgraded to Tiger on my mini, my epson stylus 600 has quit printing.
The print manager icon (?) comes into the dock, it jumps up and down, it sits there for a bit and then it disappears. Nothing.
It works fine from my G4.

starting at basics:
is your printer installed AND selected in Print & Fax (Preferences) ?
When printing (which program) do you get a dialogue box so that you can select various printing settings ?
Is it connected properly ?

Sure,
yes, it is installed and selsected - it printed fine in Panther. The only change has been the change to Tiger.
I get the dialogue box showing printer options in both Safari and Appleworks.
The printer prints fine from my G$.

Ok, the printer icon stayed mounted in the dock this time for some reason, and I was able to open its dialogue box.
When I tried to print, the prompt:
"The process "rastertoprinter" quit unexpectedly with status 2."
Very unenlightening but if anyone has a clue, maybe useful...spotlight can't identify rastertopprinter.

Started ahcking around in printers and drivers utilities and
I got it! Reinstalled the printer, !not reset! and it works...
