which ibooks are airport extreme compatible??

Hi everyone,
My girlfriend just got a used ibook through her brother and has joined the mac crowd... Luckily, because that means less frustration and calls from her to her personal tech support.. :-)
The ibook doesn't have an airport card and she definitely wants to get one... How can we tell if she qualifies for an extreme or "normal" airport card? Is there a list where we can check or starting when did the ibooks have extreme capabilities? Can I look something up at system profiler??
