Calculator just spinning on Currency Update

The OSX Calculator app is great. Well featured tool!
Strangely, for the last few days, when I try to update the currency conversion rates, it just sits and spins.
It only responds to Force Quit.
Everything else works. And it will convert using the last rates updated. But those rates are now out of date.
How can I fix this???
Is it a firewall/port issue?
I trashed the prefs. No dice.

It usually means a problem with accessing the web site that calculator gets it's rates from. When I try it, I get an error saying the rates cannot be updated at this time. Nothing to do (AFAIK) but wait and try it another day.

Apparently the 10.4.3 update fixed it!
