If I have no "stability" problems with 5.0, what do I get with the upgrade? Are the benefits worth the risk?

I think the upgrade was more for Windows users. There were some real problems after the last update for them. I've updated and have no issues.

I had a bunch of problems with 5.0 -- none of which were fixed with 5.0.1: Still can't listen to any purchased music on my iPod; still can't put/view photos on my color iPod as that option is now gone from my preferences panel.

Thats interesting. I am running the Windows version of iTunes 5 in my lab and I have not had any issues. Of course I have not synched my iPod to it since the update as I have not added any music to the Library recently. I guess I should update iTunes before more CDs arrive in the next week that I will be ripping songs from.

I know what you mean, any of my new purchased music won't play on my iPod... and it seems I'm the only one who's having this trouble... I haven't seen to many people complaining...
