OK, Virtual PC is starting to piss me off (well, not starting too, it always has been... but its starting to REALLY piss me off lately) so I'm looking for an alternative way to play online poker on my Mac. I'm tired of having to use the wifes laptop every time I want to play (the wife can get almost as annoying as Virtual PC sometimes... ) surely there are some mac compatibles sites out there! Help!!!

PokerRoom.com is Mac-compatible, though it runs as a Java client, and GamesGrid has a Macintosh version of its poker application.

I used www.Mac-Poker.net about a month ago to play poker on my Mac - it gives step by step instructions for two compatible sites.
Peter is right, Poker Room offers a java client. This is probably your best bet, same with Pacific! Both these rooms are popular (lots of games available) and reputable, and the java clients work well! There are a few new sites such as Games Grid and Victoria Poker that are mac compliant, but both these sites are pretty empty (less than 1/50th the size of Poker Room & Pacific Poker) so I would personally avoid them for atleast 6 months.

VPC was working ok but slow for me - then after Tiger things went south - I guess VPC 7.2 is supposed to work, but I haven't anteed up - opting for Mac Poker Pro and the Pokerroom skins, Pacific, Bugsy's and now Games Grid.

Another poker site that works with the Mac is a little different: Live 3D Poker. It's still a beta, but it's pretty neat, runs as an true Mac app (not web-based or Java-based), and incorporates 3D room and player graphics. Live 3D Poker home page

Enough with the link spamming to Mac-compatible poker sites.
