Does anybody know of any way of transferring the personal spelling dictionaries (personal dictionary AND automatic corrections) from Office 2004 to MacOS, e.g. from Entourage to Mail ??
Thanks !

You can do this several ways. What need be done is to change file TYPE & CREATOR from Word dictionary to that of Entourage or Mail.
The easiest way to do this is to download Contextual Menu "Lift and Set File Info." Install it in your System folder, then Control-click on what you want the file TO BECOME. Then Control-click on the file you want to alter. There are instructions with this CMM.
You can do the same job with ResEdit. It just takes a little longer.
Hope this helps.

Now, my next problem (!) is where do I find the "automatic correction" dictionnary in Word ?? And is there automatic correction in Mail - and if yes, where is the dictionnary ?

On this I cannot help you. I use Word 2001. In OS 9.2.2 spelling exceptions dictionaries are preferences. They are found: System folder>Preferences>Microsoft. I suspect your dictionaries will also be somewhere in Office or Word preferences.
