Hi -I have a 20 GB IPod less than 1 year old. Lately whenever I try to skip a song it takes forever. I tried plugging the IPod into my computer to update it, and my comp didn't even recognize it, but the "Do Not Disconnect" screen is stuck on the IPod. I tried turning off the IPod so that the Apple comes on the screen and resetting it by holding the power and select button, but it is just constantly stuck on the Do Not Disconnect Screen. I have been having many problems with this IPod, but this is just about the end of what I know how to fix.
Can anybody tell me anything about this? ANYBODY???

Not certain if this will help, but have you tried resetting your iPod by pressing the top and bottom buttons on the click wheel simultaneously? Try doing that before syncing it with your mac.
If that doesn't work, I would definitely suggest that you get proper advice from Apple.
