I would like to use my PowerBook as an alarm clock so I can wake up to iTunes... But I don't need to wake up at the same time everyday... is it possible to set up an Applescript to change change when the computer is set to wake from sleep? (Or PowerOn?)
-Thanks a ton!

why not just go into your energy settings and set it to wake/on whenever you want.
you would have to change the time for it's actions just as with any other alarm clock.
but perchance you just wish for more "bling bling" to load into your 'book.
personally, I believe simplicity in technology is the highest art form.
may your search be fruitful. as they say, to each his/her own /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Software such as iRooster is designed specifically for stuff like this.

Wow, that will do very nicely.... I will try it out! Thanks a ton!
(Guess my advanced Applescripting will have to wait till another day... and thank goodness for that... I don't have clue as to what I am doing...)

Be careful with iRooster. Even though it will wake the computer at different times for different days, you need to "re-authorize" the program every day (i.e. type in your password) or else it will not automatically wake up. I learned this the hard way by sleeping thru a few classes. Also, it never prompts you to re-authorize. I had to figure this out by exploring the menu bar and trying things out.
I did write a script to do what you want. I set it up so that when the computer starts up (say on a monday) and runs the script, it will go into energy saver and reset the wake up time for the following day (tuesday). It's not the prettiest piece of code, but it has worked well for me. Let me know if you'd like me to post it.
