Let me apologize in advance. I have literally spent hours reading up on podcasting but I just may not be smart enough to understand what I need to do:
I have a Mac that I use as a server to host my website and it also automatically records a radio show every week. I am used to remotely accessing my mac once a week (I travel a lot) and downloading my radio show. I would like to automatically podcast the show so instead of logging on to my mac I could just open itunes and once a week it would automatically download the radio show podcast by my server. Is this possible and what do I need? The name of the file changes every week since my audio recording program adds the date to it.
I very, very much would appreciate if someone could tell me what to do step by step.

You know... this can be done. Really early in the morning and I need to wake up a bit more.
My first thought is that you'll want to make sure you aren't posting a copyrighted radio program so that others can download it, too. That wouldn't be cool.
You should ensure that radio program doesn't show up on any of the podcast directories or search programs.
You can manually give iTunes a URL from which it can "subscribe" to the location where the program is hosted and download it whenever there's a new file. With iTunes open just click on "Advanced" in the menu bar, then click on "Subscribe to Podcast". In the pop-up box you'll paste the URL for the exact location where your program resides.
As for making sure your program is in a properly hosted spot where it can be retrieved by iTunes you should look at one of the articles Macworld published recently on "how to create a podcast".
Don't have a link for it at the moment... need more coffee... you'll find it sooner if you use the search feature on the Macworld site!
