Can't play purchased music...

For some reason, I cannot play any of my purchased music. After starting up my computer, it asked me for my account login which I provided. It supposedly authorized a "new computer" (for a total of 3, even though I only have 1 computer...) but keeps giving me the following error:
"We could not complete your music store request. An unknown error occurred (-208)."
This is really pissing me off, since a significant number of my songs are purchased via itunes. I've tried deauthorizing my computer and reinstalling itunes but neither has helped. I know I should be contacting Apple directly, but I don't feel like waiting an entire day to listen to my music again.
