I have a 40G iPod with a click wheel. I've attached a Griffin iTrip FM transmitter. After following the instructions all I get on the radio is a sort of high pitched whine. I've double checked the volume setting, tuning and even exchanged the iTrip for another one but nothing seems to work. Help!

Not to sound glib, but get rid of the iTrip. Unless you live in a part of the country where you don't have many radio stations, the iTrip's reception is spotty at best. You'd get better results using a direct cable connection, like a tape deck adapter or mini-plug to RCA cable from RadioShack.

The iTrips work quite well in Boston. Airwaves are terribly crowded here.
Perhaps you have a defective iTripFM. Where did you buy it?

Thanks for your response. I finally went to a cassette adapter and it works great!
