Jim, g'day. Think you're going to spring for the full upgrade, or just get the software, or leave well enough alone?
Depending on the feedback I hear, I intend to get just the software upgrade. Excited about the new tones, especially for bass modeling, too. I already have an audio box, although it's cool that the new rig is also a sound card and has MIDI.

Cool. Maybe I can expect a review sometime?
I'm not into the foot controller that much. I'd probably spring for it if I thought it was going to be better than my Edirol UA-25 for audio I/O. I'm more interested in tonal possibilities so the software is kind of a no-brainer - as long as it gets decent feedback, I'm in.

You can definitely expect to see a review soon!
I really got into pedals in the last year, so I'm really interested to see what's new with the foot controller. If it does what I think, it may be worth a complete upgrade. Have no fear, I'll let you know what I think /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I don't play the Guitar.. but I just wanted Professional Sounding Audio Input to my computer for Voice. I'm using the M-Audio FastTrack Guitar/Mic Recording Interface. It's AMAZING to say the least.. I bought it with the Microphone kit that came with the package although you can get it cheaper without the microphone. The only down side that you can't record your voice and guitar simultaneously if that's your thing.
It works with Garage Band without ANY drivers and they do provide Software Pedal inhancements that you can install to give different effects. I haven't tried those as I said earlier I don't play guitar. The quality is Good. M-Audio makes Good stuff and this will work with Pro-Tools if you desire to purchase it.
