Hi,
Thanks in advance for any help with this:
Powerbook 12" 1.33GHz
OSX 10.3.9

Almost every day my Dock stops working. What I mean is that if Hiding is On, then it will not spring out of hiding. If Hiding is Off then the Dock icons don't expand when the mouse rolls over them.
It is possible to select items/apps in the dock, but the animation does not work. this makes it impossible to use Hiding.
Also, when this occurs the list items on the Menu Bar do not hightlight as I move the mouse over them. clicking on them does select the desired menu item.
Loging out and back in again doesn NOT fix the problem.
When it occurs it seems to affect both of the user accounts I have set up.
Restarting DOES fix the problem, but it occurs again after several hours of use (including several sleep cycles).
I tried trashing the Dock preferences file, logging out and back in again. My dock was reduced to the Standard one, but the problem didn't go away.

I have the same problem in 10.4.3. Did anyone ever reply to your question? If so, i would lik eto know the answer.
