Just wondering if anyone is experiencing the same thing. Every so often, maybe three times in the last month, Tiger hangs. I'm doing something and it just freezes. No errors, no scary screens, no beachball. All I can do is power it off. It happened just now. I was reading reviews in the iTunes store. Safari and Thunderbird were open as well, but I wasn't doing anything with those. I think I was browsing the web with Safari last time.
I repared permissions after last hang, but it happened again. I updated Tiger after last hang through Software Update, but it hung again today.
This is happening on the Powerbook (see sig.). Any ideas?

Yes, use to experience the same, but it was with Panther. I think it was -d00d that said to check the Log files. OK...I'm not great at understanding some of the KP logs, but it did say something about USB. I swapped USB hubs to a good power Belkin, and NO more freezes. So, maybe look at your log file after it happens for a clue.

Haven't face any serious hangs with Tiger. Only twice did this happend with me. But at those moments I was working with Virtual PC.
