swap the stock gf4 mx on my 1-GHz DP quicksilver for a windows compatible GF4 ti? if I cant, then why not? the AGP slot does look a little different that the one on my PC, though it may juast be my eyes playing tricks on me, I havent compared them side by side.

The slots are not different (I don't think). But the software ROM is. Some cards have been able to be "flashed." That is using software utilities to change the ROM from PC-to-Mac on the flash upgradeable ROM's on certain cards. It may be possible for a Ti (Must be a Mac ROM available). You could always search or post at http://www.xlr8yourmac.com about flashing a PC GF4Ti. Good Luck!
