Would like to import my IE favorites from windows to my imac. I tried just dragging the favorites folder into my favorites tab in IE on the mac..but the URL's didn't work.

Suggestions? Thanks!

only problem is, that all my favorites are one html file on the mac. The folder structure is gone. I get one page with tons of favorites as hyperlinks...not very convenient...

The import and export feature worked for me in IE a couple months ago. I had the same exerience this time where I all my favorites are in one html page.

Did something change in IE?

I dunno, but I finally got it to work right...I just had to do it all manually!

Open the favorites.html in the browser to see all your favorites as hyperlinks. Open favorites and just drag the hyperlinks over to the favorites window. Your PC favorites will now work. Only problem is you also have to recreate all your folders manually, and then drag and drop into them. Takes a long time if you're importing ALOT of favorites from your PC, which is what I was doing...but at least now I have all my old favortites on the mac.

Now to just get my contacts from Outlook 2002 into my Mac...

As far as the contacts go that worked seamlessly for me. I had exported them as a txt file then imported them into Entourage.
