For some reason my slide shows I create with iphoto don't look nearly as good as the ones created by a coworker using his PC, even though my photos are of higher quality. Mine look good as long as I view them on a computer monitor, but not so good when I view them on the TV (played on a DVD player). My coworker created a slide show of an African safari that puts mine to shame. He used Picasa (?).
I understand that i would have to do some work with an image manipulation application before importing them into iPhoto, but I would like to know if there is an application, somewhat similar to iPhoto, but one that would allow me to save the slide show or burn a DVD to be played on a home DVD player and viewed on the TV without having to do so much work. In other words, I am looking for a better iPhoto sort of software at a reasonable price.
