Internet explorer does not work

i downloaded internet explorer for mac, but when i open it, it ends up "not responding" and i have to shut it down. Any idea why its doing this and what i can do to fix it??

perhaps because it's a dead application.
use Safari or you can use
FireFox
and additional plugins right Here
