Try the export option in Quick Time Pro. It will take a while though.

Well I used the export option in Quick Time Pro and dowloaded a 40 mb Quick Time icon but no movie. Looked like a movie but when I tried playing it, all I got was the icon on the screen.

As the article now reflects, the video is only available for a live stream.

It is about time. Why won't they do it live any more? What? Is it too much hype for Apple to handle? Give me a break. And they are trying to transform themselves into a media company. Pfft! Get with the Program Apple!

cuervogold. Do you have knowledge that it wasn't broadcast live? I didn't watch it live but understand it was available.

Apple is wrong-headed on this one. To post a stream-only movie eliminates anyone with a dial-up connection (about half of North America), or anyone with an old, slow Mac (me). If I could download the thing, I could uncompress the movie into DV format and watch it happily, but No. Only fast connections and fast computers need apply, or those that have paid the QuickTime Pro tax. Does this make sense as a reasonable requirement for a 1.5 hour (or whatever) commercial for Apple?
Just plain wrongheaded.

It postively was NOT available live anywhere on the web. This was confirmed several weeks ago.
I just hope someone at Apple can get the go ahead to open the movie in QuickTime Pro on one of their new Intel iMacs, and use the Export to iPod function, and then post the resulting movie file for us to download. Some of us--even with DSL--have crap connections that will not accommodate live video at all.

Must be a change in Apple policy. I agree that it seems to be backward thinking. I remember looking forward to the live broadcasts in the past.
All we get now is a stern warning.

Of course, I was implying the fact that Apple doesn't bother to put this on iTunes as a free download.
