Hi,
Not sure if this is the correct section of the forums but here goes.
Over the past few months I've had some issues printing pdf files (forms, etc) that I've downloaded. Some of the files print fine, some only print the first page, and some don't print at all. I use Preview on my G4 laptop to print to my Lexmark Optra laser printer. I've tried the usual solutions, (rebooting, restarting the printer, reinstalling the driver, connnecting directly instead of over Airport, etc) but nothing seems to fix the problem. I just downloaded Acrobat Reader and it has printed the latest problem file with no problem but I'm confused about why Preview would have an issue with a pdf file and Acrobat Reader doesn't. I realize that lots of people use Acrobat to create the pdf in the first place but I don't understand why there would be a problem. Can there be differences in pdf files? The most recent problem was two different forms I downloaded from different sections of my city's website. A nine page form printed fine in Preview but I needed to use Acrobat to print the one page form.
Any thoughts?
