So where does this put Apple? On a Mac-centric site what, exactly, is the point of an article about marketshare that only mentions Apple as a footnote:

I'm at a loss.

Sure it does. The lowest entrant on this list moved over 8 million computers in 2005. Apple moved considerably less than that.

Well, if you look at the table, it says that Fujitsu, Fujitsu Siemens has 3.8 percent market share (Gartner) or 4.1 percent (IDC). If you look at Apple's unit sales and do the math they're at around 2.3 percent market share. Not sure what happened to that 4 percent market share I kept reading about here on the forums.
