MightyMouse and Microsoft Word

Hello,
The scrolling ball of MightyMouse gets often stuck in MS Word, it won't do anything. Click on the page, and all of a sudden, all your previous back and forth rollings play quickly in succession in front of your dazzled eyes ...! Quite a nuisance. Anyone has any any idea how to solve this annoying problem? Thanks in advance.

Is your Word / Office up to date? A few months ago there was an update that specifically fixed mouse scroll wheel behavior. It used to be horrible, now it's just as great as in other apps. Run your Microsoft AutoUpdate.

Thanks. Unfortunately, AutoUpdate says that Office was up to date.
