Is there a way to install software with administrator priviledges while logged in as a user? I administer many Mac's running Tiger, and this trick would be helpful. Sometimes software is not written to ask for admin password and then chokes because the user does not have priviledges to write to the Applications folder.
Thanx

I had the same problem when attempting to install an app (greenstone) onto an OS X machine. Never found an answer / workaround. I'd love to know of one! (Very frustrating!)
