When i run my iBook G4 for long periods of time (15+ hours) i notice that the machine gets really warm even though i have it propped up so air can circulate more freely through the bottom. (The device i use to prop it up is very small and doesnt hinder air circulation-- it raises the back of the iBook a little more than an inch off the desk surface). When it gets really warm, its sounds like a fan turns on inside, and when i get really close to it, i smell something burning a little. The smells isnt really bad, just a really faint burning smell. Is something wrong here?
Thanks.
iBook G4, 768ram, 80gb hd, OS X 10.4.5

shaun, when I play WoW I can hear the fan kick in within a few minutes, that is not abnormal however I dont think you should smell anything burning, I recommend downloading tempature monitor and keeping track of the tempature
