The classic MORE outliner may be gone, but it’s not forgotten. Here’s how to get more from your legacy MORE files. [more]

OmniOutliner opens More files well and also let's you export them to Keynote. So all is not lost.

MORE is still the best outliner extant in spite of a host of OSX native apps. Even in Classic, MORE is blindingly fast. If one doesn't need the bells and whistles of PowerPoint, MORE gives you a perfectly adequate alternative.
Guess it's a case of "not invented here" syndrome that keeps Omni, et al from simply providing a preference checkbox of "behave like MORE". Frankly, if they did so, I'd buy it.

MORE was one the best programs I've ever used. I really miss its ability to clone parts of an outline, Omni Outliner still can't do that. . .maybe someday. Odd to think I miss a product feature that was around over ten years ago and still isn't in a modern outlining product (at least to my knowledge).

I rely completely on OmniOutliner for my work. Haven't tried MORE, but I've heard that it was a real gem; it will be interesting to give it a try in Classic. (Maybe I'll just go back to using System 6.)
Outliners.com looks alive to me, by the way.

Right you are. It was dead as a doornail this morning but it's up now. I've updated the entry to reflect its return.
