When this is all said and done, RIM will sue NTP for legal expenses, pain and suffering. (Somehow I think it would have been in NTP's best interest to settle when it had the chance.) RIM is poised to gracefully handle whatever decision is handed down by the courts.

It continues to amaze me that greed leads so many to ignore the better/reasonable solution. NTP's lawsuit pushed RIM to find a workaround that will end the cash flow to NTP.
A clear case of "shooting yourself in the foot".
