Faxing with a pulse, not a tone?

How can i send faxes so that my iBook rings with a pulse and not tone? My dial-up connection is pulse, that was easy to do, but I can't figure out how to do it from faxing? Anyone?

Just do it.
Pulse, tone -- no problem, mon. The phone system recognizes both.

Ummm, well, the Ukrainain phone system doesn't.
I wonder if anyone has a real answer?
