Whenever I load a music CD into my Power Mac G5, the computer switches over to iTunes. While that is a great timesaver if I were ripping CDs, it is a pain in the butt when I am simply trying to catalog my music into Music Collector. Is there a way to stop OS X from going to iTunes when a music CD is loaded.
By the way, while Delicious Library has (justifiably) received rave reviews from the Mac press as a media collection database, you guys should check out Music Collector if you want a full cataloging feature set. It has just recently been ported to the Mac and despite its very Windows-esque window theme compared to DLs eye candy, its features blow away Delicious Library if you are serious about thoroughly cataloging your physical music collection. They also have databases for movies, books, video games, etc., but Collectorz.com has taken the program per medium approach instead of creating a jack-of-all-trades media database.

Have you already tried this?
System Preferences/CDs & DVDs/change what it does for "When you insert a music CD"

That is the feature I was looking for. Thanks moosensquirrel. You spend enough time having to deal with Windows non-intuitive interface and you start to get into the habit of overlooking what should be intrinsic and obvious.
