I just recently had my 17in LCD screen, which was badly cracked, replaced. For about 2 weeks, the screen worked amazing! However, yesterday when i turned it on, the screen was (and still is) very dim and wont get any brighter. I've tried to adjust the brightness in system preferences, but there is no slider.. and no other way i can figure out to change it!!! It looks dim, just like it looks like right b/4 it goes to sleep... seems like its stuck!!!
Is there anyway to reset or correct this?? Is the problem in the actual screen or something on the operating system? Am i stuck with a very dim screen forever!!??!!?!??

if you just had it replaced, surely there is warranty. 90 days is the norm
