Macworld editors can be a jaded bunch. We’ve been looking at Mac hardware and software for so long, we sometimes feel as though we’ve seen it all before. But then, every once in a while, something new comes along—a desktop gadget, a way to keep a laptop safe, or an oddball USB device, for instance—that makes us stop and say “Wow.” more

I'd really recommend two PQI Intelligent Sticks over the Petito drives you show for one reason: they easily fit in your wallet. I think by volume these things are smaller thant the petito anyway. The way you can use it in your wallet though is through an included plastic carrier that you can load up to two in. They're fast and mine have been very reliable. I love that I can just have them available when I need them but otherwise don't even have to think about taking them with me.

no way that 'petito' is the smallest flash drive. my sandisk sd+ 1gb sd card with fold-down usb connector is much smaller, for one. and it works in my camera too. better fxnality and i'll bet it's cheaper too.

indeed:
Petito: 36.3 x 9.4 x 17.6 mm = 6,005 & <8g
PQI IntelligentStick Pro 170: 33 x 18 x 2.8 mm = 1,663 & 2.8g - 1GB Aprox $35 No contest
Here are some pics of mine in the included dual holder case that I attached my business card to (in case i lost it or handed it to someone):

Though the capacity is tiny as well, I'd say this drive takes the prize for smallest USB drive ever.

That looks fun. Wouldn't it get damaged though? (Shiny metal things on the outside.) Especially if you did wear it as an earring (which you'd have to do -- that's probably why the capacity's so small, you're supposed to wear them in pairs).
